Miracle Rescue: Woman Stuck in Mud Saved After 3 Days

A 68-year-old woman, Kathryn Woessner, was found and rescued after being stranded for three days in a remote Minnesota area. She was discovered stuck in a deep mud puddle by two men, Adam Sandbeck and Mark Gravalin, who were exploring an unfamiliar trail near Backus. The men described finding Woessner with only parts of her body visible above the mud and water, calling for help. They immediately initiated a rescue and contacted emergency services.

Paramedics arrived swiftly to provide medical attention to Woessner, who suffered from severe sunburn and had been trapped since Wednesday, June 3. The circumstances leading to her being 100 miles from where she was last seen remain unclear.
