A severe fire in west London has resulted in the tragic loss of three lives. The incident occurred at a single-storey pavilion on New Zealand Way, White City, on Saturday evening. Firefighters were dispatched shortly before 7 PM BST and battled the blaze for over two hours.
Approximately 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines responded to the emergency. They successfully rescued three men from the burning pavilion. Despite their efforts, two individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene. A third man later passed away from his injuries in the hospital.
The fire destroyed just over half of the pavilion structure before being brought under control at 9:25 PM. The cause of the devastating fire is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.
