In Oklahoma, two fatalities were reported north-northeast of Beggs following a tornado strike on a home. This incident marked the second pair of tornado-related deaths in the state within approximately 24 hours. These events ended the nation's second-longest streak without tornado fatalities, which had lasted 256 days.
The National Weather Service has issued warnings for continued severe weather, with potential threats extending from Texas to New York on March 7. Approximately 90 million people are at risk as a cold front moves through the eastern United States. This forecast includes the possibility of more tornadoes and destructive storms.
