Tragic Scooty Collision Claims Two Lives on NH-27

Two women tragically lost their lives in a road accident on Saturday afternoon in Muzaffarpur district, Bihar. The incident occurred on NH-27, a four-lane highway, near Adigopalpur Chowk under the Bochaha police station area.
A speeding car allegedly collided with their scooty while both vehicles were traveling from Darbhanga towards Muzaffarpur. Eyewitnesses reported that the car hit the scooty from behind with considerable force.
One of the women died immediately at the scene. The other sustained severe injuries and was taken to a private hospital by locals, where she later passed away. The deceased have been identified as Nishu Kumari, 22, and Neha Kumari, 20, both employees of a finance institution.
Bochaha police have taken custody of the bodies for postmortem and initiated an investigation into the accident. Efforts are underway to trace the driver of the car, who reportedly fled the scene after the collision. Legal proceedings are being initiated.
