Two Teens Dead After Stolen Car Crash

A fatal car crash in Abington claimed the lives of two teenagers. The incident occurred on Wednesday when a stolen vehicle, a Hyundai Santa Fe reported stolen Tuesday in Brockton, veered off Washington Street and collided with a tree.
The 17-year-old driver, who was pinned inside the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed on Thursday evening that a 16-year-old female passenger had also died from her injuries sustained in the crash.
Four other passengers, aged between 14 and 17, were transported to local hospitals. The condition of these injured teens is currently unknown. Police were attempting to stop the stolen vehicle prior to the crash. The State Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
