Ajith was en route to his workplace and was dropping Senthurya off when their motorcycle attempted to overtake a bus near the Melavaladi flyover. An SUV, traveling from Pollachi towards Lalgudi, collided with their vehicle as it maneuvered past the bus.

Both Ajith and Senthurya sustained severe injuries and were immediately transported to a private hospital via ambulance. Unfortunately, medical professionals at the hospital pronounced them dead upon arrival. Their bodies have since been sent to Srirangam Government Hospital for postmortem examination. Samayapuram police are currently conducting an investigation into the fatal accident.
