Two individuals have tragically lost their lives following a severe head-on collision in East Yorkshire. The incident occurred on Sunday evening around 10 PM on the A614 near Holme-on-Spalding Moor, involving a Land Rover and a Ford Transit van. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene immediately after the collision was reported.
The occupants of the Land Rover, aged 27 and 55, were pronounced dead at the scene. Humberside Police confirmed the identities of the deceased were travelling in this vehicle. The driver of the Ford Transit van, a 31-year-old man, sustained injuries that police have classified as life-changing and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
