Apocalyptic Deluge Near Istanbul Claims Lives

At least three lives have been tragically lost, with six individuals still missing following the deadly deluge. Extensive search and rescue operations are actively underway. The collapsed home in Sakarta was safely evacuated before its destruction, and no casualties were reported in that specific incident.

Authorities have conducted massive rescue efforts, saving over 3,000 people in Istanbul alone. Emergency services have responded to thousands of verified incidents across affected provinces. Despite evacuations, weather alerts remain in effect, signaling the potential for further heavy rainfall.

The extreme weather has caused significant disruption, including landslides and flight cancellations. Officials urge residents to exercise extreme caution and stay clear of flood-prone areas and damaged electrical infrastructure.
