Summary
- Two types of toddler stools recalled due to tip-over hazards.
- Over 138,000 units sold on Amazon and online are affected.
- Consumers urged to stop using stools and contact for repair kits.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of two distinct models of toddler tower kitchen step stools, Woodure and HARPPA, due to serious safety concerns. These products have been identified as posing risks of tip-over, falls, and entrapment, potentially leading to severe injuries or even death.
Approximately 91,000 Woodure stools, sold between July 2024 and June 2026, have been recalled after 22 reports of instability or tip-overs, including 15 injuries. Consumers can obtain a repair kit by contacting Woodure.
In parallel, 47,166 HARPPA stools, sold from September 2023 through June 2026, are also being recalled. Three reports of collapse or tip-overs, resulting in two injuries, prompted the recall. HARPPA is providing free repair kits to affected customers.
Both companies are instructing consumers to stop using the recalled stools immediately, store them safely away from children, and reach out for the provided repair solutions. The CPSC warns of severe head injuries from falls if children are not properly restrained.
