Summary
- A three-year-old boy drowned at a private studio.
- The incident occurred during a maternity photoshoot.
- The child was found in a pond on the studio premises.

A routine visit to a maternity photoshoot venue turned tragic for a woman from JP Nagar when her three-year-old son drowned. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon at The Shire Studio in Giddenahalli, near Magadi Main Road.
Lakshveer C was accompanying his mother, Swathi, who is seven months pregnant, to the studio. While Swathi was engaged in her photoshoot, her son was playing within the premises, which feature three small ponds. It is suspected that Lakshveer accidentally slipped into one of the ponds.
Upon realizing her son was missing, Swathi searched the studio and found him in a pond. Despite efforts by studio staff to revive him and transport him to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead on arrival. The pond was over 2 feet deep, and it's believed the child, approximately 3 feet tall, may have struggled to stay afloat.
Madana-yakanahalli police have registered a case of unnatural death based on a complaint filed by Swathi's father. The child's body was released to the family after an autopsy. Lakshveer's father, a software engineer, is returning from the US upon being informed of the tragedy.
