The heartbreaking event took place at a short-term rental property located near 132 Avenue and Southwest 119th Street in Miami-Dade. The girl's parents discovered her in the pool and immediately attempted CPR, with paramedics arriving shortly thereafter to provide critical care.
Despite the best efforts of medical professionals at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, the young child was pronounced dead.
