The deceased have been identified as Karan Kumar, Ganesh Kumar, and Anil Kumar. Their friend, Prince Kumar, sustained severe injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital in Ara. He is from the same village as one of the deceased.

Authorities report that Karan Kumar was driving his friends back from visiting his uncle when the fatal collision occurred.
