Firefighters Battle Blaze at Historic Thatched Home in England

Eight crews from the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, including firefighters from Stowmarket, Sudbury, Long Melford, Clare, Bury St Edmunds, Elmswell, Ixworth, and Newmarket, rushed to the scene to tackle the fire.
Upon arrival, the firefighters found the detached thatched property fully engulfed in flames. They immediately began using main jets to tackle the blaze, establish fire breaks, and carry out salvage operations. No injuries have been reported so far, and members of the public have been urged to "avoid the area if possible" and "keep doors and windows closed" as the firefighting efforts continue.
The fire service has also notified UK Power Networks, Anglian Water, and the Environment Agency, who have attended the scene to provide support. Further updates on the situation are expected to be released as the incident progresses.
