Work has begun on the final phase of storm repair on Teignmouth Promenade in Devon. Teignbridge District Council is undertaking these essential repairs to address damage caused by recent storms. The affected areas include the skate park and the horseshoe section near the ice cream hut, where concrete slabs will be replaced.
During the repair period, a section of the promenade adjacent to the works will be closed. A small site compound will be established near the lighthouse, outside the car parking area but within the promenade boundaries. Similar closures will be implemented around the horseshoe area once initial works at the skate park are finished. The council has asked for public patience during this time.
