- A third man was arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.

Authorities have arrested a third man in connection with the deaths of two teenagers at Little Eden Holiday Park in East Yorkshire. The victims, 17-year-old Ethan Slater and 15-year-old Cherish Bean, both from Sheffield, are believed to have died from carbon monoxide poisoning. This latest arrest, a 27-year-old man on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter, follows two earlier arrests of men aged 33 and 42, who have since been released on conditional bail.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Ben Robinson described the ongoing investigation as highly complex. He confirmed that significant work is being conducted with partner agencies, including the Health and Safety Executive, Humberside Fire & Rescue, and East Riding of Yorkshire Council, to establish the complete circumstances of the teenagers' deaths. The cordon at the holiday park remains in place.
The families of Ethan and Cherish have been kept informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. In poignant statements, their parents expressed profound grief and devastation, describing their children as beautiful, loving, and kind individuals. A fundraising page for Ethan's funeral has already garnered significant support, raising nearly £19,000.
