A devastating car crash in Camden, Sydney, on Saturday morning resulted in the deaths of two women, identified as 84-year-old Maureen Crosland and 60-year-old Lee Casuscelli. They were en route to pick up a wedding dress for Ms. Crosland's granddaughter, who is set to marry Ms. Casuscelli's son.
The Alfa Romeo they occupied was allegedly struck at traffic lights by a stolen vehicle driven by 31-year-old Peter Francis. Police reported that Francis had been traveling at speed and had been pursued by officers before the pursuit was terminated.
