Northbound Lanes Closed for SR 167 Bridge Restoration

On November 14, 2025, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced that permanent repairs on the State Route 167 (SR 167) bridge, which was severely damaged by an over-height truck in September, are set to begin next week.
The work will commence on November 19 with an overnight closure of all northbound lanes. Crews need to close the lanes to set up the work zone, and when traffic reopens the following morning, there will only be one lane available. SR 167 will then remain reduced to a single lane for the remainder of the construction project.
WSDOT noted that the left and center lanes must be closed to allow safe access for crews to make the necessary repairs and stage their equipment. "Our engineers have done everything possible to minimize the effects of this incident on people who live, work and commute through this area," said WSDOT Northwest Region Administrator Brian Nielsen. "Crews will be working seven days a week to complete the repairs and reopen the bridge as quickly and safely as possible."
