"I Lost Everything": Sole Survivor of Air India Crash Shares Emotional Ordeal

Four months after the tragic Air India plane crash that killed 241 people, including his brother, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, the sole survivor, is still reeling from the emotional and physical turmoil. In interviews with British media, the 39-year-old Ramesh has opened up about the immense challenges he has faced since the June 2025 disaster.
Ramesh, who was aboard the London-bound Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner that crashed in Ahmedabad, says he has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and is still in pain in his leg, shoulder, knee and back. Unable to work or drive, Ramesh is struggling to find any sense of normalcy in his life, admitting, "God gave me life but took all my happiness, and from my family."
