On Monday, a head-on collision between a speeding car and an autorickshaw injured six girl students. The incident occurred near Jaymangalapur on the Lauria-Narkatiaganj main road while the students were traveling to their Intermediate examinations.

An autorickshaw carrying nine students from Mathiya village was struck by a car moving in the opposite direction. The driver of the car fled the scene immediately after the accident.

Locals facilitated emergency transport for the injured to Lauria Community Health Centre. Initially, eight individuals, including six students, were admitted. Several students and the autorickshaw driver were later referred to the Government Medical College Hospital due to worsening conditions.
