Siblings Face Ruin After Triple Tragedy
6 May
Summary
- Two siblings lost parents and sister to tragic events.
- Their father died weeks after mother and sister's crash.
- The siblings now face homelessness and funeral costs.

Siblings Mason, 20, and Bailey, 18, are navigating an unimaginable crisis following the sudden deaths of their mother, Michelle Devine, their sister, Theia (aged seven), and their father, Ted Papworth. The tragedies began in February when Michelle and Theia succumbed to injuries from a single-vehicle accident on the A3 near Haslemere, Surrey. Their father, Ted, who had been living separately in Spain, was reportedly devastated by the loss. He passed away in his sleep in March, with his post-mortem indicating fluid in his lungs. As a result of no will being in place, their father's property has been taken by authorities, leaving Mason and Bailey facing potential homelessness. A GoFundMe appeal has been launched to assist the siblings with renting a home and covering the substantial funeral expenses. So far, over £8,000 has been raised to support them during this profoundly difficult period.
