Tragic events unfolded in Queensland overnight, resulting in two fatalities and numerous hospitalizations. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Spring Mountain, southwest of Brisbane. This incident involved two Toyota LandCruisers, a purple and a white vehicle, which collided on the Centenary Highway around 5:25 PM on Friday.
The driver of the purple LandCruiser, a 21-year-old woman from Purga, was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries on Saturday. Emergency services were kept busy responding to a wider range of incidents, including assaults, which collectively left 30 other individuals requiring hospital treatment.
