10 May
Summary
- Telugu IT professional Sunil Kumar Gundrai died of a heart attack.
- He leaves behind a wife and two young children in Florida.
- A community fundraiser has been initiated to support his family.
Sunil Kumar Gundrai, an IT professional originally from Gadwal, Telangana, working in Tampa, Florida, died unexpectedly on May 7, 2026, due to a heart attack. He was a dedicated husband and father, who had moved to the US to build a better future for his family.
As the sole provider, his sudden passing has left his wife and two young children in a dire situation, far from their support network. Recognizing this hardship, a community fundraising campaign, led by NATS Helpline, has been established to gather support.
The campaign aims to cover immediate living and funeral expenses, alongside ensuring long-term educational support for his children. Organizers emphasize that every contribution can make a significant difference. As of Sunday, the fundraiser had collected $64,553 towards its $200,000 goal.
