A devastating road traffic collision in Crumlin, County Antrim, has led to the tragic loss of a pregnant woman and her unborn child. The incident occurred on Sunday, January 11th, 2026, involving a blue Ford Fiesta and a silver Skoda Superb. The victim, identified as Cathrene Kith Quiñones Singco, a Filipino healthcare worker, succumbed to her injuries in hospital shortly after the crash.
Emergency services, including the PSNI, Northern Ireland Fire Service, and air ambulance, were dispatched to the scene. A total of eight people were taken to hospitals in Antrim and Belfast for treatment. Ms. Singco's husband, Ralph Singco, remains in critical condition. The PSNI Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the cause of the collision and has appealed for public assistance.
