On the morning of November 16, 2025, a pickup truck flipped onto its roof in Fullerton, California, as a major storm system began to impact Southern California. The crash occurred around 12 p.m. on the 1300 block of Chapman Avenue.
Security camera footage from a nearby business showed a black crew cab pickup truck suddenly flipping over and landing on its roof. It appears that a light blue Ford SUV traveling in the opposite direction may have crossed into oncoming traffic, either hitting the pickup or causing it to swerve and lose control.
The pickup truck appeared to have lost its driver-side rear wheel during the rollover, potentially from being clipped by the other vehicle. The SUV sustained clear front-end damage as well.
The driver of the pickup truck was able to remove himself from the wreckage and immediately began yelling at the other driver. Both drivers were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Rainy weather conditions in the area at the time likely played a role in the crash, as KTLA meteorologist Henry DiCarlo reported that the region could see up to 25% of its annual rainfall totals over just a few days due to an atmospheric river event.
