Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), the disaster-relief organization founded by the late actor Paul Walker, continues to provide critical assistance to communities affected by natural disasters. In 2025, the initiative, established in 2010 after the devastating Haiti earthquake, impacted 13,093 individuals with support from 738 volunteers. ROWW's mission is to bridge the gap in emergency response, offering immediate help before larger relief operations are fully mobilized.
Walker, known for "The Fast and the Furious," created ROWW after witnessing firsthand the needs in Haiti. The organization dispatches small, agile teams comprising skilled volunteers, including medical professionals and construction experts, to reach affected areas swiftly. This hands-on approach, a hallmark of Walker's own participation, ensures practical support is delivered to communities facing urgent needs.
Since its inception, ROWW has expanded its operations globally, responding to disasters in Chile, the Philippines, Nepal, Fiji, Indonesia, the Bahamas, Turkey, and various locations within the United States. The organization's work extends beyond immediate relief, encompassing medical aid, essential supply distribution, and rebuilding support, always at no cost to survivors.
The 2025 impact figures highlight the sustained reach of Walker's legacy. ROWW's operations demonstrate a commitment to rapid deployment and cooperation with local responders, ensuring that aid reaches those in dire need during the critical period between disaster and long-term recovery. Volunteers continue to carry forward the organization's focus on restoring access and safety.
