Tragic circumstances unfolded off the coast of Muscat, Oman, when a boat carrying French tourists capsized, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. The Royal Oman Police confirmed the incident occurred in the Gulf of Oman, approximately 2.5 nautical miles from Sultan Qaboos Port.
The boat was en route to the Ad Dimaniyat Islands, a popular diving and snorkeling spot, when it overturned at 9 AM. A total of 25 French tourists, along with a tour guide and the captain, were on board. While three tourists lost their lives, two others suffered minor injuries and were treated by emergency services.
