Over 100 firefighters, supported by 15 fire engines and specialized equipment including an aerial appliance and high-volume pumps, were dispatched to tackle the blaze. Firefighting operations are ongoing, and local residents were advised to keep windows and doors closed.
One casualty was treated by firefighters at the scene and transported to the hospital via air ambulance. Local political representatives expressed their concern and commended the swift response of emergency services. The incident led to the closure of Bankmore Road, with motorists advised to avoid the area.
