Boat Tragedy: Captain Charged in Harbor Deaths

Manuel Hernandez, 46, faces federal charges of misconduct and neglect of a ship officer resulting in death following a fatal boat capsizing in New York Harbor. The incident on Saturday evening led to the deaths of Sara Sanchez, 27, and her 5-month-old daughter, Antonella Garcia. Prosecutors contend Hernandez was operating an unregistered vessel that exceeded its capacity of 10 people, carrying 14 individuals.
