In a tragic incident that occurred just last week, a 20-year-old youth from Noida lost his life in an accidental explosion during Diwali celebrations. Shiva, a resident of the Chhijarsi area, was celebrating the festival near his home on the evening of October 18th, 2025 when the fatal incident took place.
According to eyewitnesses and family members, Shiva had attempted a risky stunt several times that evening, placing a steel tumbler over a sutli bomb. However, when he tried the stunt one more time, the bomb exploded with greater intensity, shattering the tumbler into sharp fragments. Two of these shards struck Shiva, one piercing his ribcage and causing severe internal bleeding.
Shiva was immediately rushed to the SJM Hospital by his family and neighbors. Doctors there referred him to Fortis Hospital for advanced treatment as his condition was deteriorating rapidly. Tragically, Shiva succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Fortis.
