- The family alleges authorities failed to install road reflectors.

A 27-year-old software engineer, Yuvraj Mehta, tragically lost his life when his car fell into a deep, water-filled ditch in Noida amid dense fog. Trapped on the car's roof from midnight until 2 am, Mehta desperately called out to his father for help, using his phone's flashlight to signal his location in the thick fog.
His father, Rajkumar Mehta, alerted authorities, but rescue teams reportedly lacked adequate resources initially. A Flipkart delivery agent attempted a heroic rescue, but it was too late. Mehta was pronounced dead at a hospital after nearly five hours of rescue operations to retrieve him and his vehicle.
The incident occurred near Sector 150. The family has filed a complaint, citing the absence of road reflectors and warnings around the 70-feet-deep ditch as the cause of the accident. Locals have also protested, demanding safety measures on the service road.
