A multi-vehicle collision on NC Highway 210 near Anderson Creek School Road resulted in six individuals being transported to Cape Fear Valley Hospital. The incident, which occurred around 10:36 p.m. on Friday, involved three vehicles traveling southbound.
First responders arrived shortly after the crash to find three damaged vehicles, with one overturned off the roadway. The severity of the scene prompted an immediate closure of the highway in both directions.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol confirmed that all three vehicles were traveling southbound when the crash happened. Investigators stated that a fourth vehicle, heading north, had crossed into the path of the southbound vehicles.
The highway remained closed for over two hours while emergency crews worked the scene and troopers documented the crash. It reopened shortly after 12:30 a.m., allowing traffic to resume.
