The desperate search for a young boy in central Queensland has ended in tragedy. A three-year-old boy, reported missing from Thababen near Bundaberg, was found deceased late Tuesday evening. He was last seen at a Central Avenue home in the afternoon wearing a Spiderman costume.
Police, alongside SES crews and local residents, launched an extensive search operation. Their worst fears were confirmed when the boy was discovered unresponsive in a car at the property shortly before 9:30 PM. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Authorities have stated that the toddler's death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will be prepared for the coroner to document the circumstances surrounding this sad event.
