Hooper, an experienced hiker from Sydney's south-west, left home on Wednesday morning. Her vehicle was located on Wanganderry Road, near the Bonnum Pic Walking Trail. Initial investigations confirmed she reached the Bonnum Pic summit by mid-morning, but no contact has been made since.
Fresh search teams commenced operations at 7am on Saturday, utilizing resources such as drones and helicopters. Despite concerns for her safety, authorities are hopeful due to her experience. Police are urging anyone with information regarding Hooper's whereabouts to contact Moss Vale police station.
