Tragedy struck a McDonald's fast food restaurant in Stafford on Monday evening when a man was found in critical condition. Paramedics responded swiftly to reports of a medical emergency at the Eccleshall Road branch shortly after 18:20 GMT.
Despite receiving advanced life support from emergency responders, the man sadly passed away at the scene. West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched a significant team, including an ambulance, two paramedic officers, and a critical care paramedic, to provide immediate assistance.
Staffordshire Police confirmed they were called to the incident due to a man in cardiac arrest. Authorities have stated that the man's death is not being treated as suspicious. A report is now being prepared for the coroner to formally document the circumstances surrounding the fatality.
