On November 10th, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in the Unchi Mangli area of Ludhiana, India, where a gas cylinder explosion left four people, including three young children, with severe burn injuries.
The injured individuals were identified as Vikas, a 27-year-old who works at a local plastic factory, and three children: Rahul (4), Arjun, and Surjeet. The incident took place while Vikas was cooking in the room he shared with the family of the injured children.
According to eyewitness accounts, the fire erupted suddenly when Vikas had lit the gas stove. Local sources suggest the fire may have been caused by a rat biting the gas pipe, leading to a leak.
