CM's Residence Worker Victim of Fatal Accident

A home guard working at the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's residence was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Lucknow late Sunday night. The victim, identified as 55-year-old Yogendra Nath Shukla, was cycling in the Mahanagar area when an unidentified four-wheeler collided with him.
The accident occurred around 10:30 PM near Sai Mandir Smriti Vatika. Shukla, originally from Bazaarkhala and living alone in a rented room, was rushed to the trauma centre but was declared dead upon arrival by doctors.
Based on a complaint filed by his son, an FIR has been registered against the unknown driver of the four-wheeler. Police are currently conducting efforts to identify the vehicle and apprehend the driver responsible for the fatal incident.
