Brave Woman Resists Leopard Attack While Grazing Goats

In Mauridikheda village, Pratapgarh district, a leopard attacked a woman named Bagdi Bai on Saturday while she was grazing her goats. The woman sustained serious injuries to her hands, legs, and abdomen. She bravely attempted to defend herself and her goats by throwing a stone at the leopard.
Enraged by her resistance, the leopard attacked her further. However, her alarm and struggle attracted a passing tractor driver, whose approach caused the leopard to flee back into the forest. The injured woman was subsequently taken to the district hospital for treatment.
The forest department has deployed a team to the area to track the leopard's movements and has issued warnings to villagers, advising them against venturing alone into forested regions and to stay alert.
