Motorcycle Plunge Claims Kerala Man in Kullu Hills

A fatal road accident in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district resulted in the death of a tourist from Kerala. Sabin Mathew Kurain, a resident of Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district, was killed instantly when the motorcycle he was riding skidded off the Jibhi-Shoja road.
The motorcycle plunged into the Pandla Nala in the Banjar sub-division. Akshara Jose, also from Ernakulam and traveling as a pillion rider, sustained injuries. She was initially taken to a government hospital in Banjar before being referred to the Regional Hospital in Kullu.
According to an eyewitness, the motorcycle was allegedly being ridden at high speed and in a negligent manner prior to the incident. Banjar police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the accident and have registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
