A devastating fire engulfed a seven-story office building in Indonesia's capital, Jakarta, resulting in at least 22 fatalities, including a pregnant woman. The blaze erupted around midday in the Kemayoran neighborhood, quickly spreading flames and thick black smoke throughout the structure.
Firefighters deployed over 29 trucks and hundreds of personnel to combat the intense flames, which were finally extinguished after three hours. Initial reports suggest the fire may have started from a sparking battery in a drone company's sales and storage office, potentially leading to an explosion.
