Rescuers wrapped up their search after accounting for all victims, with six individuals confirmed to have survived the disaster.
The casualties consisted of truck drivers and owners of food stalls operating at the landfill site. Over 200 rescuers utilized excavators and thermal drones in their extensive search efforts. The Bantargebang landfill is a significant waste management site, receiving between 6,500 and 7,000 tons of waste daily across its approximately 110 hectares.
