Tragedy struck Jaipur's Patrakar Colony on Friday night when a speeding luxury car collided with pedestrians near Kharabas Circle. The incident left one person dead and injured 15 others, with four in critical condition requiring transfer to SMS Hospital. The car reportedly hit a divider, lost control, and continued for 30 meters, striking numerous roadside stalls, food carts, and parked vehicles, causing widespread panic.
Authorities confirmed that all four occupants of the vehicle were allegedly intoxicated. While one individual has been detained, the others managed to escape. The vehicle has been seized by the police. The injured were initially taken to Jaipuria Hospital for treatment, with eight admitted and others being treated at private facilities or sent home.
