This recall, confirmed by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, addresses significant fire and burn hazards. Affected devices were sold in the United States between August 2021 and April 2022.
Reports indicate 16 incidents of power banks overheating, resulting in 11 fires and three minor burn injuries. The cumulative damage from these events is estimated to exceed $380,000. Iniu advises all owners of the implicated power banks to cease usage immediately and seek a refund or gift card.
