The rescue mission was conducted at an altitude of 9,000 feet above mean sea level. The operation faced significant challenges due to ongoing snowfall and extremely low visibility conditions.
A Cheetah helicopter was utilized for the airlift, transporting the woman to Chandigarh. The IAF confirmed that the woman was in stable condition after receiving timely medical assistance. Videos shared depicted the careful transfer of the woman on a stretcher to the helicopter.
