Holiday Park Lodges Destroyed Hours After BBC Expose

Two holiday lodges at Wyre Country Park in Lancashire were destroyed by fire within an hour of each other, shortly after their owners appeared on BBC Panorama. Mike Chesworth and Alison Porter-Garroch, who had spoken out on the documentary about alleged misleading sales practices and site issues, lost their homes and all possessions.
Mr. Chesworth's lodge burned down on the 28th day of an eviction notice, while Ms. Porter-Garroch's property also caught fire an hour later. Both individuals were not inside at the time. Police have been unable to determine the cause of the fires due to significant damage, though a man in a hoodie was reportedly seen on site.
In their documentary appearance, the owners detailed issues such as alleged year-round residency misrepresentation and sewage leaks. The park owner, David Welch, has denied misleading buyers and rejected allegations of intimidation. Investigations into the fires are ongoing.
