Tragedy struck on the Delhi-Agra national highway Saturday evening when an unidentified vehicle collided with a motorcycle near the Sarai Khwaja toll plaza. The incident, occurring around 5 pm, claimed the lives of two individuals, Golu and Prince, who were brothers-in-law.
Prince, who was riding the motorcycle, and Golu, the pillion rider, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The vehicle that hit them fled without stopping. Golu hailed from Dausa, Rajasthan, while Prince was from Khurja, Uttar Pradesh.
The accident caused significant disruption, leading to a traffic jam on the highway as onlookers gathered. Police intervened to clear the passage and have since launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the vehicle responsible. The bodies were transported for post-mortem examination.
Authorities are currently examining CCTV footage from the vicinity in an effort to trace the fleeing vehicle and piece together the events that led to this fatal collision. The investigation is ongoing as police seek to bring those responsible to justice.
