A devastating hit-and-run incident occurred on Chandu Badli Road near Budhera village, resulting in the death of 45-year-old Tejendra alias Teju. The volunteer, who regularly assisted at Darshan Ashram, was fatally struck by a high-speed, negligent vehicle while on a morning walk. The driver of the unknown vehicle fled the scene, leaving Tejendra critically injured.
Passers-by found Tejendra unconscious and immediately took him to SGT Hospital. Medical professionals at the hospital confirmed his death due to the severe injuries sustained in the collision. Following notification from the hospital, police initiated an investigation into the accident.
Based on a complaint filed by the victim's cousin, Anil Kumar, a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita concerning causing death by negligence and rash driving. Authorities are intensifying efforts to identify and apprehend the driver and locate the vehicle responsible for this tragic event.
