A tragic incident in Grimsby has resulted in the death of a 13-year-old boy. The collision occurred on Tuesday evening when a white Seat car struck the teenager as he was crossing Fairmont Road on a self-propelled scooter. He was rushed to the hospital, but sadly passed away on Friday evening.
Humberside Police have made arrests in connection with the incident. An 18-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and attempting to pervert the course of justice. A 41-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. Both individuals have since been released under investigation.
