Following the tragic plane crash that claimed the life of former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle and six others on December 18, 2025, his home in Mooresville, North Carolina, was burglarized. The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday, January 8, when the Iredell County Sheriff's Office was called to Biffle's estate. Burglars made off with approximately $30,000 in cash, along with guns and memorabilia.
The investigation into the burglary is actively ongoing as of Wednesday, January 14. Sheriff Darren Campbell indicated that law enforcement is awaiting digital evidence to aid their efforts in identifying and apprehending the perpetrators. No arrests have been made in connection with the theft.
Biffle, his wife Cristina, their two young children, the pilot and his son, and a motorhome driver were among the victims of the plane crash near Statesville Regional Airport. The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board, a process that could take up to two years for a final determination.
