NASCAR Star Greg Biffle's Family Dies in NC Plane Crash

A devastating plane crash has claimed the lives of former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle and seven other individuals. The group was traveling to the Bahamas for a birthday celebration when their Cessna C550 aircraft experienced a catastrophic failure shortly after takeoff from Statesville Regional Airport.

Cristina Biffle, Greg's wife, managed to send a final, chilling message to her mother stating, 'We're in trouble,' before the plane tragically impacted the ground. The victims included Biffle, his wife, their children Ryder and Emma, and three other passengers.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, with authorities examining why the plane attempted to return to the airport immediately after departing. The families have expressed profound grief and requested privacy during this incredibly difficult time.
