Summary
- Greg Biffle, his wife, and two children perished in a plane crash.
- Seven people died in the crash of a private jet owned by Biffle.

A tragic private jet crash in North Carolina resulted in the deaths of NASCAR legend Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, and their two young children, Emma and Ryder. The Cessna C550 jet, owned by Biffle's company, crashed and erupted in flames at Statesville Regional Airport, claiming seven lives in total.
As the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) probes the incident, unanswered questions persist, notably the presence of three pilots aboard the flight. Investigators have released footage of them examining the wreckage for clues. The NTSB confirmed a text message indicating an "emergency landing" was sent shortly before the crash.
Details reveal Greg Biffle, Dennis Dutton (a retired Delta pilot), and Jack Dutton (Dennis's son, also a pilot) were on board. Records show Biffle was not qualified to pilot this specific jet as a second officer, and Dutton was supposed to fly with a co-pilot. The flight lasted only 10 minutes before impact.
